She has led global digital and business transformation initiatives, overseeing IT strategy, cybersecurity, AI/GenAI, advanced analytics, and major merger and acquisition projects. She serves on advisory boards and executive councils focused on women in technology and STEM careers as well as higher education. Her achievements have earned her honors such as the National CIO of the Year ORBIE Award and inclusion on the Forbes CIO Next list of top 50 tech leaders. She also dedicates her time to animal rescue and community causes. Melanie is based in Midland, MI.
